This egg is the most liked post on instagram of all time. This has managed to overcome kylie's jenner post, which was estimated to be the most liked post on instagram with 18 million likes. Today this egg has over than 50 MILLION LIKES and this has broken the record. The account currently has over 9.5 million followers, but its owners are unknown.The Washington Post determined they live in London.
History
On 4 January 2019, the @world_record_egg account was created,and posted an image of a bird egg with the caption,"let's set a world record together and get the most liked post on instagram. beating the cyrrent world record by Kylie Jenner!we got this!!!" Kylie Jenner's previous record, the first photo of her daughter Stormi,had garnered a total of 18.4 million likes. After that, Kylie Jenner posted a video of her breaking an egg on the sidewalk in response to her being overtaken.
The post quickly reached 18.4 million likes in jut under 10 days, It then continued to rise over becoming the most-liked Instagram post of all time. It then continued to rise over 45 million likes in the next 48 hours and taking the world record for the most liked online post(on any media platform) in history.
